I havn't seen True around much. She posted to the Bloodlines thread in June and said she'd been busy. I hope she remembers to watch Survivor tonight.

I'm ready :) I have the traditional pimento cheese spread and a fresh loaf of bread :)

:applause:

Awesome. Our traditional meal is Tacos.....so now Taco Tuesday is on Wednesday!!

Did True say she's a contestant on Survivor by any chance?:D

Don't hit me........but I've never understood the fascination of this show.........

Then again, I watch Vanderpump Rules.......so what do I know? :facepalm_smiley:
Me either. The first couple seasons were kind of fun because it was something new. But now? Don't get the ongoing fascination with it. Of course, this is coming from somebody who would watch Little Women of _________ (fill in the blank with any city) on a loop.

I always want to know what they do about the girls and their periods. Surely someone has a period on this show. They would have to supply them with feminine hygiene products, unless they have to run some obstacle course to win them.

"Not only did you win a carrot stick, but you got a weeks supply of tampons!"

I still watch this show. I admit that. If I had ever learned to swim, I would have applied to be a contestant a long time ago. I think it would be great fun to compete in some of the challenges. (Maybe not so much now...I'm getting too old for all that drama.)
I'm going to miss most of this season, though. I am on a bowling league on Wednesday nights this year. Unless...!!! I can find a blank video tape and put my VCR to work. If that's even still possible. Maybe I should just get a DVR thing from my TV provider??

Get a dvr thingy! I dvr everything and watch later so I can fast forward through commercials. A bowling league sounds like fun :)

Yes! do it! I took my sweet time getting one of those things but now I love it - it's great to be able to fast forward those crappy commercials

Once you get one you'll wonder how you managed without it before

Maybe they just suppress their periods by staying on a birth control pill full time, rather than skipping the pills for a week after 21 days?

I think there is a shot too - DepoProvera or something like that?
