A few years back, when I was advised to give up coffee, I discovered the wonderful world of tea. Pearled, leaved, herbal, spiced, bagged or loose, I love tea. Hot or iced, creamed or black, sweetened usually, but any way it's served I love tea.

Of course I never did give up coffee, but there you go.
What is your favorite tea?

Ever since we went to London, Scotland and Ireland a few years ago I got hooked on mint teas, especially peppermint. I'm a "tea bag" man myself (oh god, now there's a double entendre!) although I keep swearing I am going to invest in a tea pot and some loose tea some day.

My favorite tea is Southern brewed sweet iced tea, with just a bit of lemon.

I like raspberry and peach herbal tea......both iced and hot......and sometimes, mixed together.

Long Island iced tea also comes to mind.......but I'm no longer allowed to have tequila in mine. Apparently, it makes me kinda mean.......

These work too, but not as well for a cuppa loose leaf tea. The hinge on the spoons loosen up and you wind up with more residue in your cup than you might like. Of course if you like to read tea leaves, they are perfect. I like reading tea leaves... I even have a special cup for that. Good times.

I never was a fan of coffee, always tea since I was a girl. My favorite is Barry's Irish breakfast tea, but that's harder to find here. I like Red Rose (for reason DiO mentioned) but most days I drink a couple cups of Tetley (classic black) in the morning and Lipton in the afternoon.
The rest of my family likes Bigelow peppermint tea or mint blend (even the kids drink it on occasion).

And you get a figurine in every box. I have quite the collection. :)

My mother got me started on Red Rose tea! When she passed into the clearing I inherited her collection of figurines. I keep them in a special box and display a different few ever so often. They make me happy and remind me of what a lovely woman she was.

That is so cool! It's like having tea and art appreciation at the same time.
I must know more........
Sundrop Flowering tea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flowering Tea
After tea leaves are picked and still moist, they are sewn with cotton thread together with flowers into various shapes and bundles (tea leaves may also be scented with jasmine blossoms before sewing for a more floral flavor). Some shapes take one minute to sew, while other more elaborate designs containing lilies, chrysanthemum, or osmanthus flowers may take up to twelve minutes. The sewn leaves and flowers are shaped into bundles or rosettes and then undergo the usual drying and firing process. They require boiling water in order for the leaves to expand and unfurl
