Most likely will be going to my Mom's as originally planned. I usually cook a turkey and all the fixings for my SO and me as well but decided not to this year just in case I have to head to MA. That will probably jinx the baby coming until after the weekend is over and I won't have any leftovers which is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. :(

We don't celebrate it here, but this is a memorable horrorfilm taking place on Thanksgiving I once saw:

Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County - Wikipedia

It came out a year before Blair Witch, but I think it's better (or I remember it as being better, but I never was a a big Blair Witch fan). I don't know where you can find it though, I've never seen it on dvd.

I'd like to send you some leftovers, Ms. Mod, but I'll be eating them.....:D

Turkey
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Stuffing (with oysters and without)
Sweet potato casserole
Green bean casserole
Cranberry sauce (from the can 'cause my family is weird - I prefer to make it myself)
Rolls
Pumpkin Cheesecake
- probably some other dessert, just have to figure out what.

We'll eat around 1, watch football, play some silly games, clean up and pack up "to go" plates, then everyone heads out around 5 to hit the local bar for poker night. House is empty except the family. Can't beat that! ;-D

Only going to be 8 of us this year(unless OoO shows up!). We've had as many as 17 before. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
