Turkey
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Stuffing (with oysters and without)
Sweet potato casserole
Green bean casserole
Cranberry sauce (from the can 'cause my family is weird - I prefer to make it myself)
Rolls
Pumpkin Cheesecake
- probably some other dessert, just have to figure out what.

We'll eat around 1, watch football, play some silly games, clean up and pack up "to go" plates, then everyone heads out around 5 to hit the local bar for poker night. House is empty except the family. Can't beat that! ;-D

Only going to be 8 of us this year(unless OoO shows up!). We've had as many as 17 before. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
So far our count stands at 29. :(

Did I mention, there will be beer?;-D

WOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Some will leave by 5 pm. But 8-9 pm seems to time most leave. By 11 pm I kick the last of the stragglers out, unless they've had too much to drink and then I make them spend the night. Once I had to find room for 9 guests to sleep over. :(

And by the looks of it I can crash at DiO's.........:applause:

Not this year, buddy. When you left last year, after crashing in the litter box, the cat's seemed to have picked up a nasty habit.

Know how I can be so precise? Because the dinner looney I married has had his list on a clipboard for weeks and goes over it every day, refining it. He makes just about everything (I do the green bean casserole, rolls and biscuits, and pies). He LIVES for big family meals. Looney, I tell you. This year it will be the six of us, my mom and 2 brothers, and my 2 nieces and nephew. Probably my brother's best friend, too. Maybe my MIL, but probably not. Invited, but she's eaten dinner at our house exactly once in 28 years, so I'm not really expecting her. Mark is pumped for the preppin' tomorrow evening and the cooking the big meal. He's already planned Christmas dinner, too (apparently we're doing various fondues, his great grandma's kugelis recipe, ham, and an assortment of appetizers and knoshes).

Did I mention that I'm married to a looney?

We are having the same, EXACTLY. The only thing omitted is the dumplings. Must be a southern thing. So...ditto for me. :)

Only B and myself this year. So we got a boneless Turkey roast -- white meat for me, dark for him -- sweet potatoes (whipped & topped with brown sugared pecans), green bean casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad (butter lettuce-YUM!) and pumpkin pie W/whipped cream for dessert. And plenty of leftovers!

Then we might go see Dr. Strange.
