Happy Birthday John. I carry you with me every day, your love, wisdom, music, and everything you taught me, and I miss you. xoxoxo

Under your bed
Fortunately, I can say John was my friend. I got to know him a couple of years before he went to the clearing beyond the path. To me, he was like Merlin, or Gandalf, or William Burroughs...just chock fulla Devine wisdom, the kinda cat I can sit and listen to for hours. He knew everything. And, if I may be so bold, there was a hint of the charming rogue in his character, which just made him all the cooler. I've written with him, and written about him, and cherish the short time I knew him. He was the real deal.

Behind you
I have said this before. I had never been on any kind of message board. I don't remember how I found this board years ago and what got me the courage to post.

It was the SKMB. In full mourning.

I saw the community. I read everything I could that he posted. Little boards. 'London though my eyes', The terrible story involving his daughter, The heartbreak of the last night with his wife. Meeting Ms. Mod! His son, taking the time to respond here.
The funeral when he mentioned the SKMB

And that's when I knew I would stay here with Tet. Good people

RIP John.
