Just to continue on my "storytelling at it's best" line, it's unfortunate that SK isn't given his due on this. One of the great storytellers ever, he is up there with the great ones. In a hundred years SK will be considered a great writer. Like Dickens, he isn't being appreciated in his own time, people thought Dickens was just a hack in his day, at least that is what I've heard people say. I mean, The Stand, It, The Talisman, The Green Mile, and Salem's Lot (not given it's due in my opinion even among King fans), jeez there are so many....my point, yes I know I'm preaching to the choir, SK may be the greatest and most prodigious storyteller ever. And isn't the point in reading novels, we want to be told a story that will captivate us, genre should be of no consequence, but unfortunately horror is looked down upon. Just a note to those who replied to this, I'm glad you enjoyed The Count as much as I do, thanks for the replies.

As a kid I read some sort of abridged translation and would have read the whole darn thing had it been available. Has the entire thing ever been translated into and printed in English, or made into an audiobook?
