Awesome! Does that include Jellystone.....I mean Yellowstone?:D
I think so. The passes are given out by the National Park Service to 4th graders, in celebration of the Park Service Centennial. It says good for entrance fee/day use for one vehicle. We keep saying we are going to get to Yellowstone with the kids. It would be Scott's first visit there, too.

I will have to do some checking on it. It does say State Parks, and Yellowstone is a National Park.

That reminds me, Cat--how did y'all fare in the mine kerfuffle? My aunt and uncle in Gillette are still on so far, and crossing everything that it stays that way.
We are ok. Scott made the cut but lots of good people didn't. That has been the cause of all our stress and worry. Houses going up for sale everywhere. Some people just flat out telling the banks, come get it. It is not good.

Glad your family members are still on, too. I hope and pray we all come through this ok.

Thanks for asking!

My mom and dad were both born and raised in WY, and neither had/has ever been to Yellowstone.

That is Scott, too! His family never did the vacation thing. Hunting trips, fishing trips, but no real go, look and see type trips.

I hear they have a thing that shoots hot steaming water out of the ground at Jelly I mean Yellowstone. A very popular attraction and not to hard to see why. Where else can you get your car steam washed for free?

Was going to tell you there is a place in Custer, SD that looks like the Flintstones town, but that isn't Jellystone. Haha.

Yeah, I was looking at that same page! I wonder though, if the pass would still be allowed there? Would be neat. Not that you could ever see all of Yellowstone in one day.

I have only been there once, I was around 11, I think. The kids would love it, I know. Scott too.

There's a plantation house that's on the national registry of haunted places barely 5 minutes from my house. I pass it every time I go to the store, doctor, etc. I've lived here for 14 years and I've never taken the tour. Weird, eh?

I did something strange today. I overslept and when i say overslept i mean OVERSLEPT! I woke up at 4 pm today...... Wonder what im going to say at work tomorrow?? I guess I have to creep in and humble myself... I can understand a few hours but im beginning to wonder if some kind of sleeping disease has Attacked me. I must have slept for at least 13 or 14 hours. PERHAPS MORE!!!
Me too Kurben - I woke up at 4:27, got up to use the bathroom, went back to bed and my phone alarm did not go off.
When I woke up again it was 6:35!

I just called in and told them what happened and that my head was killing me, so I guess this will be an unpaid day off for me (that is what I asked for).

The only way you get to take a (paid) sick day is if you call in at least 1 1/2 hours in advance.

Sorry! That kind of stinks. Oh well at least you got to get some rest. Your body will over-ride your plans from time to time. The body is boss.
