It's a regular soap opera in LL-land. The house is coming along. Framing's done, wiring's in. We're waiting for the code inspector to approve, so that we can get the plumber and heating/cooling guys in. Then we get walls.
Of course, when it rains, it pours. I've been diagnosed with Lichen Shclerosis, accompanied by a possibly cancerous lesion (gotta get that biopsy) and what's that 4mm thing in my lung? Gotta go see the lung guy, too. Joy.
As we all know, I'm a huge advocate for a certain cure, so I've got my order in with my oil chick. Still, dealing with that on top of the house is just a tad stressful.
And, just for giggles, I've got a frozen shoulder. From no apparent injury. Just froze. It's not life threatening or anything, but it's painful as all get-out. Somewhere on the pain scale between childbirth and a kidney stone, only in my shoulder. That's all kinds of fun to deal with on a daily basis.
Aren't you glad you asked?
To keep myself (relatively) sane, I'm writing. I'm mostly finished with the first draft of my (fictionalized) book about the cure, and jotting down notes about an old gypsy woman in a WWII concentration camp. I woke up with her story fully formed in my head. Even though I'm dedicated to finishing the cure book first, the old lady fights for my attention.
It's pretty cool. I've got all my devices set up with a writing program that saves directly to a cloud. So I can work on a/either book on my phone, tablet or pc seamlessly without having to transfer files from one to the other. It's just there, on the cloud. I think it's nifty. I can sit waiting for physical therapy on my shoulder and tap-tap away on a book on my phone, then take it back up later on my tablet where I left off. Or the pc.
