Vacation time!

Grandma and I are flying out tomorrow with a couple of our besties (which, but for the lack of an A, would be "beasties," which is the farther end of the spectrum). We hope to see a big mountain, glaciers calving, salmon running, moose snorting, whales doing their blow jobs, and food and sleep in abundance. Realistically, e're expecting that at least the scenery and food will be good.

It's our first real vacation in 12 years, and I've been doing my 12-, 14-, 16-, and even a few 18-hour days to get the workload in shape for it. I do hope it's worth it.

Catch you guys at the end of the month.
Have fun, be safe!

Sounds like fun! A cruise?

Kurben - good luck finding the right words. I'm sure you will write something interesting for your article.

(((Lily Sawyer))) Lots of luck with the last minute details!

I have been at my workplace for 20 years and a coworker has been here for 15, so this afternoon, the boss is taking the team out to a local brewery to celebrate! :very_drunk: =D

Maybe you'll get a GPS as a present!!:p

Registered for the Jeopardy! test. This will be my 5th time taking the test. I passed it once at a contestant search in Seattle. Got to the sample game but I guess I didn't pass muster there. I used to be a real hot-shot but I'm getting older and my recall is slowing down. Might be my last shot unless they have a senior's tournament. Can you see it? An hour-long show because they have to give contestants 60 seconds to answer.

I've taken the test a couple times as well. Never got to the sample game. Might take it again.

I wish they still had Rock and Roll Jeopardy. I'd kick so much butt on that show!

Right? But Jeff Probst has another gig, now. Keeps him tanned ;)

Go register at the Jeopardy website now for the test the first week of October. Good luck!

Cool! Good luck! I've never done the standard show test. I did qualify for the teen tournament in HS, but couldn't afford to travel to LA for the taping. I was 14 and probably would've lost badly, so I am somewhat glad I didn't go.

Ackks! Nothing like calling yer boss on a Sunday night.

I turned my phone back on and saw a missed call.. Boss.
Oh noes! No message.

I had to call.

He said sorry sorry didn't mean to call you. I hit a button while putting it away. Awkward. All around

I take another bow. Thank. you. Thank you all. No, stop throwing flowers.... Deep bow.

Yes, I called the boss on a Sunday night.
