What a strange weekend - saw a good friend on Saturday which was nice. Son and future daughter-in-law went out and then he had supper at her place.

I've done a whole lot of nothing much - did make supper, watered plants, filled bird feeder, washed the floor etc. but no laundry. (oh yeah - pancakes for brekkie)

I notice my 20 dollar French Manicure lasted all of three days - think next time I will just do it myself and save the money

Hope all are doing well here and getting ready for a new work week starting tomorrow.

Tomorrow I start week 10 of going to the gym every day after work - not sure if I can actually see any results yet physically but I definitely feel better and stronger :flex:

I followed the green M&Ms advice today:

You actually can do it yourself with little moon shaped stickers. Tape works too, make sure to let the first coat dry before a applying the tape.

You said "shellac" just like my dad did (I imagine):biglove:
Sunny, I love both!
I need something that I can't turn over easily.....my family insists on it. :biggrin-new:

I still want one of these.....

There are several artists online who sell the spherical fire pits. They are kinda pricey, though.

Plans for mine.......gonna build some fires, roast some hot dogs, toast some marshmallows, make some s'mores, sit around with friends and family......enjoy the little things.....

That's so close to what I was going to say before its scary! I have a small Hibachi grill on my back patio in which I enjoy finding various ways to burn coal, white copal, frankincense, dragon's blood, sage, lavender-
I cook on the barbecue with lump charcoal, but my fantasy home includes an earthen fire pit.

About 10 years ago my wife HAD to have a fire-pit. So I clear and leveled out a spot. Put down landscaping gravel, then landscaping sand, then laid block. Bought the fire-pit, assembled it, and purchased a couple chairs to put around it.

Fires built to date in the fire-pit: ZERO

I still have the original bag of hardwood I got for it, unopened. :(

All I did was buy some blocks, dug a little bit of dirt, and stack the blocks.....cost me all of $62.
We're gonna use it often. Had a fire last night.

Hey guys, got a few days off work and on semi-bedrest so thought I'd pop in and see how everyone's doing? Had a bit of a fright on Friday, started bleeding unexpectedly so was admitted to the maternity unit for observation but baby's heartbeat is still strong and bleeding has stopped now...pheeeew! I go back tomorrow for blood tests for Down Syndrome and other conditions etc, slightly nervous but trying to employ positive thinking that all will be well. On the plus side had another scan at the beginning of last week and was amazed at how much the bump has grown.

Anyway enough about me, hope everyone is doing well and enjoys a great week ahead.
