I can always count on the GNT to brighten up my day.....it's a Jeep, so whatever it is will be ridiculously expensive to replace and damn near impossible to find.....
....remember, I own a Wrangler....went in for an oil change last week and came out needing a transmission overhaul and a rear coil spring......I can always count on the GNT to brighten up my day.
She called me the other morning, I was already at work, to tell me the battery in her car was dead. I keep a jump cart charged up and ready to go in the corner of my laundry room. I decided to rib her a little and good-naturedly asked her if she knew how to jump a car battery.....Hey old buddy, ask her if she's taken care of her air changeout.....
Just pour some of that backwoods stump water onto the battery, it'll start up from shock...lolThankfully, my battery hasn't failed yet. If it does, my car came with a Nissan certified pre owned warranty, so they will bring me a new one 24/7 for the next 7 years.
Good idea! I'll send you some for your cars as wellJust pour some of that backwoods stump water onto the battery, it'll start up from shock...lol
LOL, I'll just borrow some of that "Apple Pie" from my future father-in-law, pretty sure you could power a stock car with it, or launch a rocket.Good idea! I'll send you some for your cars as well
OOOOHHHH!!!! You've given me my next idea for fun/curiosity!!!!....... If it works, I'll send pics.LOL, I'll just borrow some of that "Apple Pie" from my future father-in-law, pretty sure you could power a stock car with it, or launch a rocket.
I’ve been pretty lucky with the Commander so far (knock on wood). The Liberty was a whole different story, and decided to junk it last Fall.....remember, I own a Wrangler....went in for an oil change last week and came out needing a transmission overhaul and a rear coil spring......
The battery on the Commander did have some corrosion on one terminal. My mechanic said to pour some Coke A Cola on it. He said once you see what it does to the battery terminal you won't want to ever drink it again. Tried it but still no go on getting the Jeep started. Charged the battery and it's holding a full charge but I get nothing... no revving, no clicking, no nothing.Just pour some of that backwoods stump water onto the battery, it'll start up from shock...lol
...this sounds like an injury waiting to happen, but try it......take your battery cables off and briefly touch them together....it's worked on mine in the past when it acts up like that.....The battery on the Commander did have some corrosion on one terminal. Touch the cables together after taking them off (doesn't seem like anything will happen)? Or touch the battery terminals together and watch the fireworks?...this sounds like an injury waiting to happen, but try it......take your battery cables off and briefly touch them together....it's worked on mine in the past when it acts up like that.....
...touch the connectors together....yeah, it'll spark but sometimes that re-sets the on board computer....Touch the cables together after taking them off (doesn't seem like anything will happen)? Or touch the battery terminals together and watch the fireworks?
I'm sorry you're under the weather.
I hope these help.
Good story - that dog was lucky!Snatched by hungry eagle along Lehigh River, dog lives to bark the tale - The Morning Call
This happened about 15 minutes west of me. I occasionally see this eagle when I go visit my oldest daughter. I’ve had some remnants of rabbits in the back yard recently but I think it’s either from the local red tail hawk or an owl.
Haha don't laugh - Andy took his Durango in and found that the air pressure was off in the tires (I took the Durango all the way to Toronto and back in October) - I told him it probably happened after we got the freezing temperatures....Hey old buddy, ask her if she's taken care of her air changeout.....

I could have used AWD yesterday on my trip home dealing with all the country road snowdrifts. Stopped at McDonalds on the way home. After getting the order in the drive-thru the window on the van only went half way up and froze. So 5 miles with the window down and the heavy winds and snow blowing into the window and on my face. The wife decided to call off today and not chance her AWD Charger with all the crazies on the road. Almost asked her if I could use it today... then thought the better of it.
