Have a good day. It's Hump Day.

(((all in need or not)))
You too Spidey :spiderman:

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed lately - the first two days back to work were actually quite productive. (Made it back to the gym yesterday and noted I had not been there since October 28th!) :oh::m_combo::flex: (my muscles were getting weak - had to lower the weight level on the machines)

Dave the trainer at our Fitness Centre tells me it will take about a week but if I go every day my strength should recover if I stick with it.

One more quick one (no time to find the How's the Weather thread) - it looks like we may get snow - right now it is raining and plus 8 Celsius.

Keeping fingers crossed that we continue with above average temps - our winters here are long enough already!

(((((Tet-mates)))))

Love and green lights to all - must dash!

Hi guys, I sent a message to DJ this morning, haven't had time to write I'm sorry. My family are fine... thanks for your thoughts. xox
There have been 2 deaths, I think and quite a bit of damage. One small town seems to be cut off, damage to roads, landslides and bridges.
The aftershocks have been pretty big and very frequent.
The quake itself was bloody awful, I've never been in one so big and this one scared the living life out of me. I actually dived under a coffee table with one of the cats. My house isn't even close to the epicentre and our place was shaking to shyt... it must have been horrendous for the people right in the middle of it.

Sending tons of hugs to all Tet-Mates who need them. Cat, may everything go smoothly and you can relax again. Sunny, sink repairs are the pits. May it be fixed soon with minimal $$! Flake, sending big hugs to you. I had to take my dog to the vet yesterday. He had a big cloudy spot in his eye with blood vessels running through it. It looked so horrible to me, I was terrified of what the vet would say. It turns out to be just an eye ulcer. The vet loaded us up on every med she could think( and then some) of and he's going to be fine. Wishing you all a fantastic, calm and peaceful day.

Well, sure has been a Monday here. RJ and Sage are in fighting moods. Took me two hrs to clean up my kitchen, and it wasn't even that bad, because I had to keep playing referee! Final straw was about 10 min ago, RJ pushed Sage down and she bonked her head on the entertainment center. Now they are both sitting. No goose egg on Sage's head, so think she's ok.

Made some phone calls to the pt place to find out what the pillow and ice pump thing was going to cost us that Scott needs, she said they didn't have the order yet but the pillow was $110 and the pump was $400 to rent for 2 wks, $5000 to buy. Insurance would help some with pillow, not at all with pump.

Oh beautiful.

Then called the surgeons office to ask if that was where they were sending the prescription to, since the pt place didn't have it yet. Nope, they sent it to the hospital pt place. So called there and found out the cost is built into the surgery price, and we won't need to pay for them when we go pick them up...also it is for the sling he needs, not a pillow.

So, very thankful I don't have to try to find an extra $500 by Friday.

I had lots of plans for today, did get some done, but I am frazzled now, so guess it is break time. Too early for a drink? (just kidding. :p)

Hope Sunny's sink repair is going well!

Sounds like one of those days where you need to get back into bed and get out the OTHER side.
Are their any organizations in your area (like the American Legion) who will rent those to you at a very
low cost. The Canadian Legion does that and it is a lifesaver to the bank account.
