Hi everyone! I hope all is well and everyone survived the storm. It seems like a lot of snow out there, but the power only went off once.

Howdy folks and isn't it great we can now post again! Woo Hoo! 
I hope everyone is trying to stay warm and dry - looks like there has been some pretty nasty weather out there lately.
We are staying quite close to home here - day before yesterday I made a loaf of homemade bread from scratch (didn't even pull out the bread maker).
Today I may attempt a second loaf.

Going to another wedding - this one for my niece...
I have just informed the bride that I'll be wearing fleece.
Wedding's at Old Sturbridge Village; part of it's outside.
There's a horse drawn wagon for the guests who need a ride.
All the rest of us will walk down quaint - but muddy - streets;
Forecast says it's gonna rain (unless, of course, it sleets)
And we'll miss a play-off game - the Pats play Tennessee.
I suggested we postpone - my niece would not agree.
I pray that the happy couple has a happy life;
Hoping that this journey they begin as man and wife
Leads to years of joy and love together for these two...
(If I have to freeze than it's the least that they can do.)

Unfortunately, I'm here in the frozen north where I'll be all winter long. Still hoping to convince him to let me work remotely from AZ even before I retire but it won't be this year as I have a tenant in my town house until the middle of April. I knew there was no chance of it happening this year so agreed to the rental.
Glad the board is back open. Have missed you all. So much happening here. I need the board to speak to everyone.

This new year has been busy with work, my dogs and now the new horse also. Hopefully things calm down soon.
I have been off from work since last Friday and today it was meant that I'll go back to work, but nope I got a bad flu and
sore throat so I have to stay home rest of this week and just take it easy, hopefully the flu is gone by the weekend so I can
celebrate my birthday.
The weather has been crazy here lately, much snow and one snow storm and now it's cold.

We had pretty good weather while all of you in the east were freezing your tushies. But we're back to brrr again. Snowing and -9 with wind chill right now.
Nothing much new around here, Marti's seasonal layoff ended earlier this year, she went back to work on Monday, so my little babysitting vacation is over. Just working on sorting stuff down a little at a time and getting rid of some clutter. That is a hard thing for me to do, I always seem to justify keeping this or that for sentimental reasons.
