It's still a beautiful dog in the picture. Why do people make up these stories?
James Crane worked on the 101st floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center .. He is blind so he has a golden retriever named Daisy.
After the plane hit 20 stories below, James knew that he was doomed, so he let Daisy go, out of an act of love.
She darted away into the darkened hallway.
Choking on the fumes of the jet fuel and the smoke James was just waiting to die. About 30 minutes later,
Daisy comes back along with James’ boss, Who Daisy just happened to pick up on floor 112
On her first run of the building, she leads James, James’ boss, and about 300 more people out of the doomed building.
But she wasn’t through yet, she knew there were others who were trapped. So, highly against James’ wishes she ran back in the building.
On her second run, she saved 392 lives. Again she went back in. During this run, the building collapses.
James hears about this and falls on his knees into tears.
Against all known odds, Daisy makes it out alive, but this time she is carried by a firefighter. “She led us right to the people, before she got injured” the fireman explained.
Her final run saved another 273 lives. She suffered acute smoke inhalation, severe burns on all four paws, and a broken leg, but she saved 967 lives.
Daisy is the first civilian Canine to win the Medal of Honor of New York City.
I was all set to be amazed by this heartwarming story of canine heroism... until I checked out Snopes. Never happened.
For one thing, this story says the pup went to floor 112, but both towers topped off at 110.
2 men were led out of the towers by their own guide dogs, but neither dog went back in.
Hooray - even if I have to clean it I love having the house all to myself!Happy Friday. Finally.
I will have the house to myself today but my house is a disaster. So no matter how much I would like to just crawl back in bed and lose myself in my book or just watch some mindless tv I better not. I will pop in and out today as I get things done.
Sending big hugs and positive vibes to all. Have a great weekend.
Happy International Women's Day!

Good to hear that you are enjoying your "Staycation" @Jojo87! Re : the Coke - everything in moderation, I figure. If you drank it for breakfast, lunch and supper that would be a different matter altogether!
Hope all is having a great weekend!! I try to enjoy my weekend before I return to work on Tuesday. Been a good vacation so
far. Wish it would have been something fun to do, but guess to rest and relax are also fun in some ways. But no complain have been a
great week.
Oh I have to tell you something that made me feel guilty today. I went to our supermarket and bought some food to eat for me. I also
bought coke to drink. I came to the checkout and near the checkout is daily news paper what's happen in Finland and around the world.
There was a big news which went like this:
Sugar consumption should be reduced!!
Candy and lemonade and energy drinks are a big issue in Finland.
When I read that news, it was close that I turned around and return the coke I had in my hand. But since I was busy and there came
people after me in the line and I did not wanted to lose my place in the line. I decided to buy the coke anyway. But I really got a guilty feeling.
and it seemed that everyone looked at me when I had that coke in my hand. But of course no one looked at me. Thankful I didn't bought any candy
this time. I do that very often too. GUILTY AGAIN
@Lepplady - that was beautiful story about the dog.
Take care everyone and be well. Please stay safe too. Hugs for all who's need that.
(((all in need or not)))

You look pretty healthy to me in pictures, so don't sweat the small stuff!
Do I have to stay up until 2 a.m. - I have to work at 8:30 a.m. on SundayFor those of you who have to, don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead Sunday morning at 2 AM.
Thanks @Neesy I eat candy twice in a week sometimes three. Today I decided to have a break from candy eating until summer. I don't know
if I can, but I will try at least. And I drink too much coke, maybe not for breakfast. lunch and supper. But for lunch at least if I find it in my
refrigerator. It's not healthy and my poor teeth also suffers. And soon I have a appointment to the dentist and she is not happy, when she find
a hole in my tooth.
Congrads on your job. Been missing your posts here. Hope you have a great weekend as well.Good evening all.
I have finished my first week of my new job. I am exhausted, but that's how it is when every day is just training. I look forward to the day when I don't have someone sitting beside me, telling me what to do every moment of the day, or listening to how I answer my calls But my colleagues are great, my bosses are great, and they are happy with my work. I think I will be allowed to be more on my own next week.
I wish you all a good weekend!
And that birds nest cake looks amazing. I could never make something like that, I a too impatient. So, respect!
