The new neighbors are kind of weird.

The lady that used to live in the house next to us moved out rather abruptly (not even a goodbye) and this old couple moved in practically over night. My mom caught the woman peeking through the fence at her with kind of a weird look on her face, she said she's really shady looking. In the two weeks that they've lived there we haven't gotten one glimpse of the man, I saw his truck pull up but never saw him get out and the truck looks like something a serial killer would drive, it even has tinted windows. Plus there are weird banging noises coming from the house at night. They remind me of the Klopecks from that Tom Hanks movie The 'burbs.

Be vigilant and polite if they speak to you. Maybe they are remodeling? Just be watchful.

There is every possibility that I'm just quick to assume the worst and the darkest about people, probably comes from the fact that I write horror, but maybe not. I'm kind of scared of the man next door showing up in a mask like the one that tall wheezy dude wore in The Strangers.

Hopefully they will turn out to be nice neighbors. If not, you may have material for your next story!

I am always the wired neighbor. Me and my husband both work the graveyard shift. For while there people would always sit on porches and stare every Saturday when we had bunch of odd looking white guys over. Are role play group. I am only girl.
