...sadly, I have never danced with anyone near my own height....that, and I'm a crappy dancer...
Hey, don't sell yourself short! (pun intended ) I really never learned to slow dance… I just keep going round in little circles with my dancing partner. If you do it slowly and with confidence, you don't look stupid and no one really notices. :lemo: When I was single, I'd always have to explain this to guys before we started to dance.

 Are you just trying to make me cry, now?
(kidding... mostly :biggrin2: )
...not at all, I shed tears during my speech last year-because I was that impassioned with really and truly befriending my heretofore "cyber" family...this Board means more to me than I think most realize, and why I've been so nervous about this event with me nominally in charge...without you all, there are days I truly couldn't hold it together-but being able to come here and just be my doofy and sometimes thoughtful self is an ingrained part of my day I can't do without...

Scott, you have done a magnificent job with the KON. It's not an easy task to plan such an event. Those who attend, and those who will there in spirit will become one happy family- Ka-Tet. There is no other place in this world, "or other worlds" like the SKMB. It embodies the true meaning of one made up of many. I too call many here "family". Just keep on being your doogy self-- you are needed.

and pop.

Saturday 19th - Golden Coral meeting room 6PM Dinner for all.

*** Kingwood Center is $5 per car load with self guided tours and Scott and Tracy are familiar with the area.

*** Richland Carousel is a buck a ride.

*** Kingwood Center-- picnic area available

Kon Central is

Travelodge ( where Scott and Tracy will be staying)
90 West Hanley Rd
Mansfield, Oh 44903

We will most likely just meet you all first at the Reformatory Tour, unless you're gathering somewhere else earlier. I will be hard to miss: I'll be wearing my bright orange Shawshank shirt and I will have my wife and two daughters with me! Forgive me if I don't recognize some of you on first sight (OK, Scott will be hard to miss). I tend to think of you by your user names more than your real names too so that might be awkward at first, and I won't take it personally if you call me "feef" or something other than Bob!

I cannot wait to get to Ohio!!! This will be a much needed vacation. I am so excited to see everyone who will be there. I am leaving early tomorrow morning to make the 1300 mile drive! Send me some good travel vibes, please!! I'll be sending them back to all of those who will also be travelling. :encouragement::smile:

I have one route that is 641.49 miles, and another that is 666.86 miles... I wonder which is the better option...? Also not sure if I'll take the bike. 10 1/2 hours is a long ride, and I'll probably have to leave between midnight and 2 AM...
