He did - he played a role in that series.
Carrie ended up breaking up with him because he hit her (but said it was accidental) - he is [or was] a great dancer!
Thanks, Neesy. I remember those episodes, he was an artist and a bit full of himself. He is a great dancer, I agree.

After a distinguished career in Russia, he was the primary dancer in the NYC Ballet , then he was the artistic director for the American Ballet Theater (after dancing for them for years). He's considered one of the greatest ballet dancers ever. Actor, as well--he's acted in films, television, and on stage. And he sings, too 
I remember him in The Turning Point. Think that was his first acting gig.
Yeah, I think so, too. I watched a long interview with him a while back (I think it was from last year, because he said he was 67), and he's a fascinating person.
Quite the talented guy. And to think I may never have heard of him if not for that movie.
