Hershel...there just are no words. So, he's gone and Michonne did what she said she would do. I have to say I'm really glad that it wasn't drawn out, but what completely needless destruction. I hope that Tyrone gets to hear from the kids who it was that inspired them to protect themselves. Maybe that will help him to forgive Carol. Dang a lot happened in this one episode!

I loved Hershel but it's the Governor I will miss the most. He was such a wonderful villain. Hershel wouldn't have died if Rick wasn't so stupid. Rick is too dumb to be a leader (imho). It doesn't take much smarts to know you can't reason with a demented madman. Rick should have just agreed to leave the prison.

At first I thought it was Maggie who shot the Gov in the head. I had to rewind to see what Maggie and Lilly were wearing. I think it would have been more fitting for Maggie to shoot the Gov. Do y'all think Lilly would have shot the Gov if he hadn't shot Megan? Was it payback?

Tyreese was shown carrying something during the battle, could it have been Judith?

I am very sad about Herschel. I agree that they should have just left. Rick knew how crazy the Governor was. I, for one, was really hoping for redemption for him.

There was an AMC commercial that showed flashes of this season's shows. In it, there was a flash of
Maggie coming out of the hole in the prison holding a bloody baby. Or, a bloody baby-shaped bundle of rags. If that's what I really saw in that quick flash of .5 seconds, Maggie's got the baby.
All I know is somebody better have the baby! I didn't care for Lori but when she died and Rick gave out that primal groan/scream and collapsed I was bawling. That was an amazing scene but I am not anxious to see him go there again.

He already seemed wrecked about the baby. He just didn't have the time to let it sink in because he had his boy to get out of there. I'm glad those two didn't get separated.
