This is regarding Badlands. I felt like the AMC kind of put it in the wrong place. I could not hang out too long for Talking Dead. I wanted to see it because Michael Rooker was in it.

I recently got a dvr receiver from direct TV and all of the issues like you are posting about have been solved. ;-D I recorded the Talking Dead and watched it the next day. Michael Rooker was hilarious as always.

I had the regular direct tv receiver for a long time and had wanted to do the upgrade to a dvr for a while but they have to come to the house to do it which is a gigantic pain in the butt for me so I never bothered. Finally I gave up and hung around the house for the day (we will be there sometime between 8 and 5 :grr:) and got it installed.

I hear you Ally, but I wonder why,if it is 24 hours later, and you can access the internet and read the threads about it,why you don't use a little self discipline and wait till you can view it? So the vast majority must wait to comment out loud because some cant wait to see the episode before trolling the boards about it? Sorry,I have to call BS on it,and in fact on all spoilers,I think they are nonsense..use a little self discipline, obtain the movie, video,or book, view it or watch it,and then start perusing the threads..we are doing things ass backwards this way,IMOP.. ;)

Ooh boohoo!
Just teasing. ;DD

Hey I agree with you also, as I said personally I wouldn't look in a thread like this if I hadn't already seen the current episode...the same way I wouldn't check out any of the SK book threads here if I hadn't already read the story it was related to. But again some people have little self restraint, or maybe they're just plain nosey, sheesh I dunno. But in the case of this thread I respect Flakes and Dana are fans of the show so it's no biggie to just type "SPOILER" in a post where necessary. :a24:

Daryl was cool, as usual. He's so cool, he could make a monkey out of James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. Noticed some new zombies in the latest episode
incinerated biker zombie, zombie on display, and zombie on a stick aka hanging zombie
The new character, Tina I think it is, will be a diabetic zombie when she turns.

Also, "unwrapped zombies." On the talking dead, there was a graphic that said, "No Tina, they are worth more if you leave them in the package." ;-D

I noticed that Daryl was really looking buffed up this last episode. He had his own gun show going on. :)

LOL! I don't get this. He looked pretty flabby to me. Not muscular. Just saying, I hear about women talking about Daryl, I just don't get it. I have more muscle than that and I don't have women commenting on my gun show. :)

I have to admit, I don't get the Daryl lust thing. I'm not a huge fan of bulgy muscles, so it's not a big deal to me that he's not that way, but I don't find him attractive at all. Good actor, though, and he seems like a nice guy :)

I don't see anything wrong with him and I think the actor is a nice enough guy. I just don't understand the "Daryl lust" thing. He pretty much has the same physique as guys who do yard work here and there. Me included. Nobody is clamoring over me.

I received an e-mail alert from AMC (A channel I don't have. Ha!) A new show that started Nov 15 Sunday that is a MUST for TWD fan.

The Badlands

Probably not for me. :umm:
I hate how they're putting that Badlands show in between TWD and the Talking Dead. Stuffing it down our throats. Even if this were my genre, I wouldn't watch that show.
For what it's worth, it looks more like Sin City than TWD.

I guess this would fall under different strokes for folks. However, I would be the first to admit that he has more grease in his hair currently than the motorcycle. :)

I don't get it either. Other than he is a badass, broken boy who needs love. Who needs understanding.

I love glenn. Loved him from the very first show.
He's been my favorite but they have taken his part down to almost nothing -- well, nothing now.
Then my next favorite character is Carol.

Agreed. But he's been wandering around in the woods his whole life, with a brief stint in Alexandria. I'm guessing personal hygene wasn't big on the list of things he was taught in life.
Girls like a bad boy that need fixing. And a shower.

I totally agree. Also, I've always wondered why Daryl looks like he needs to take a shower more than anyone else on the show and he never seems to mind that his hair is always in his eyes :disturbed:

I know it is the zombie apocalypse, but he needs to take more advantage of Alexandra's amenities :heheh:

Loved this show since the beginning. I didn't really care for Fear the Walking Dead.
