You're correct - The Sound of Music, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and The Wizard of Oz were all Easter movies.Two things here:
I don't think the How the Grinch Stole Christmas should be on before Thanksgiving. Of course, they run these things more than once now, so I guess that's just more of me being an old stick in the dry mud and ...

I particularly remember it the Thanksgiving I was about 10. I was very sick that year, but HAD to watch Wizard of Oz--you only had the one chance to do so. I watched, but, boy was I sick.

No Christmas music, no Christmas movies until after Thanksgiving, that's the rule in our house (But I woke up today thinking about Jingle All The Way--lol)I refuse to watch any Christmas movies until after I've see March Of The Wooden Soldiers on Thanksgiving Day.
