People just don't have a purpose anymore.
Okay, this just about felled me.
I don't know how Firth kept a straight face during the shoot.
And I don't how in the hell he managed to look hot despite the ridiculous sweater.
Good lord he is delightful
Sooooo..... daughter's new boyfriend wants to feel part of the family. He doesn't need to do so. If she accepts him, we accept him, and indeed we have. Unless she breaks up with him. But he likes us and wants to make an impact, so he started up a "new tradition" - an annual ugly sweater party. The first one is coming up in a couple weeks.
I told the daughter, "Tell him to switch up themes next year. He has this every year, and people will start dreading it, and as the ugly sweaters build up in the closets year after year, they'll actively resent it."
But for now, I have a trip to the thrift shops in my future.
