Valentine's Day

I’m gonna spend Valentine’s Day sprawled out on the heating pad. My back has been killing me the last few days.

All those shenanigans finally caught up to you...

All those shenanigans finally caught up to you...

I think the goat headbutted me in the back.

All jokes aside, I throw my back out at least twice a month. Picking up all the heavy things takes a toll.

I went to the store to pick up a card and something else. Never seen so many unaccompanied guys in a grocery store in my life, and they were all clustered around the flowers and cards and holiday aisle with the chocolates.

To be fair, I was one of them. For the card section, anyway.

I skipped past the VD specialty cards and went to the more standard card rack of birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, romance, friendship. I found a nice "love you" one.

No flowers. I already bring home flowers on occasion, so it wouldn't be special. I went to the gift card section and got a movie gift card. We hardly go out anymore, because money and crowds and general bother. I wrote my standard love note in the card and on the bottom put (will you go out with me?), stuck the gift card in it, and sealed it up.

It was well received.

Well Happy Valentine`s Day to everyone *HUGS* all around. Has for my I work tonight and so dose the hubby so we went out Saturday. Saw the Shape of water and wen for lunch. I love tomorrow thou 50% off candy.

Yes! Today I went out and got Hershey's caramel kisses, solid chocolate hearts (a small bag) plus two roses (one was a Toblerone and the other was Lindor). I ended up giving it all away to some nice ladies when I went to pick up my son at work.

p.s. Saved the Jelly Bellys for my son and me.
