I always wait until you've posted several Van Gogh paintings, then play "Starry Starry Night" while I enjoy myself like I'm walking around in an art museum.

Because of what you've posted before I think of you when I post Van Gogh. I'm glad you like what I find, as I am. :smile2:
Well, that is just nice to know! Usually, I find one I like so much I'll use it for my desktop background. Plus I know it sounds silly, but I'm usually brought to tears by several paintings that you post...it's just something about the brush strokes and thickness of the paint; the anguish he went through; the genius of his eyes and hands. It so affects my emotions. This is my favorite thread, so...just thanks.

Yer more than welcome. He became a favorite of mine in my adolescence when I was involved in drawing and painting. I'm not sure how I discovered him, who intro'd me to him, though it's possible something of his in an art book simply caught my eye. Since I've found the page on FB where almost all of the stuff of his I post here comes from, I've seen lots and lots of stuff I'd never seen before. I wish I had a house big enough to hang all of the art I already have, not to mention what I'd continue to accumulate if allowed to.
