No, not that bad. I don't blister painfully. But when in direct sunlight without protection, red bumps start appearing on my skin within minutes, particularly early in the spring when I have no base tan. This eventually turns into a crackly rash if I don't stay ahead of it with cortisone.

Sounds like what happens to me...my arms...early summer. Never used to have problems w/the sun, but the last few years if I don't wear a #30 or better sun-blocker I get a rash on my arms. Once a tan sets in not so much a problem. Maybe I ought to say something to the doc.
