I've always said I was going to enter this thing.
Next year do a Walking Dead Peep diorama. I once lived up the road from Just Born (maker of Peeps) and still know a few people who work there and might be able to get some of the deformed rejects.

Do you know how much i deeply despise peeps? HATE THEM! But I do think it would be fun to do the diorama. Yes, yes, yes. I was one of THOSE parents who took over her kids projects, especially dioramas.

A friend of mine created one of the 32 finalists in the annual Washington Post Peeps diorama contest. He and his wife made a detailed recreation of the assassination of President Lincoln using Peeps candy. They won the first round (it's a bracket ballot) but now they are up against a recreation of the surrender at Appomattox.

Please check out the dioramas and vote here!

Which is your friend's? I don't mind throwing a vote their way...

Just bring your own water!
I drink the water... It is lovely. The problem with the poorly built castings got the little 1,500 hamlet a $4.1 million settlement, and new regulations enacted. All is now well (pun intended) now and Cabot resumed fracking at several of the existing wells in Dimock because the EPA determined fracking did not cause the methane contamination.

But do not fear, our new Governor is planning on driving fracking operations out of Pennsylvania with excessive new taxes, and cause our unemployment to jump dramatically. He also plans on increasing our sales and income taxes. Everyone is going... WTF? I tell them we deserve what we get for not taking the time to listen to what he promised in the election.
