Having just gone through this with both parents in the last few weeks I wish you all the best.

You did a splendid job with every facet of your wedding,
except no potato salad.WTF?:p
and all joking aside I wish you and your lucky husband many many and more years of happiness.
Sorry about the potato salad. We'll be sure next year on our anniversary to make some and eat it in your honor. ;)
Thank you. Even if the Titans still suck, we had a grand wedding and we are still thrilled about it all. We are so looking forward to no longer dumping bedside commodes and getting on with our life together - neither one of us are qualified to take care of his mother now. She needs professional assistance and he's done it now by himself for 10 years. I'd say he's more than put in his time.

And we've got writing projects and potato salad to make!

I saw your beautiful photo on FB.. I am so happy for you both! I am glad you had your fairytale wedding. Wishing you many happy years ahead! SKMB marriages are the best! ❤️. We sealed the air out of our wedding cake and it was actually not bad a year later, it was an orange liquer cake...probably was the booze that preserved it.... Sending a big hug and kiss on the cheek for the bride from me!

Lil - tears of joy in my eyes for you! Beautiful bride, handsome groom, and such love all around. <3 Best wishes for a lovely life and happy marriage.

Thank you so much! :) Big hugs back!

-We're relieved and thrilled that as of this writing, Bryan's mom is in assisted living. She's been there less than a week, and it's a huge adjustment for her. She seems to be learning the ropes, though, and we'll see her on Thanksgiving day.

We're now dealing with the house. Lots of hurricane yard work to handle (still, even at this late date), finances, estate sale, etc. -But then we're on our way to (hopefully) western North Carolina, if it doesn't burn down first. :icon_eek: (We're seeing lots of the North Carolina fire smoke even down here on the southern end of South Carolina.)

Wonderful photos and stories, thanks so much for sharing your special memories with us all. I'm so sorry about your kitty friend guys, that's very sad...
I hope Mom settles in nicely and that you both have peace of mind... it's been a tough road and this is a huge step, and can be so difficult to adjust to. My best wishes to (((you all))) for the transition.

Congratulations to you both... wishing you much happiness together always.

Well, another milestone.
We sold the house!

We're moving June 1st to a temporary place upstate, close to Greenville. Once there are jobs, we'll then find a longer-term dwelling and move - FINALLY - to the mountains!

I am exhausted but happy, happy, happy.
Cat's good.
Husband's good.
MIL is on board with the sale of the house.
Yay!
