Ok, that is just about the most stupid and useless thing ever. Ok, so I don't agree with something an author I like has written. So in retaliation I will destroy my own property, worth money (my money) in revenge.

Two thoughts; one serious, one not-so-serious. I'm sure you can sort out which is which.
1) I'm disturbed by the direction of Putin's political ambitions, so later I'm going to post a video of myself taking a giant crap on my priceless collection of Fabergé eggs. That'll show Russia!
2) Does SK have a good security system? Maybe some burly friends who can come hang out for a few days? This guy seems a little extra unhinged.

I didn't even click it on. I saw where it would go, I won't waste thirty seconds of my dwindling supply of existence on such stupidity. Besides, I gotta HUGE stack of James Patterson needs burnin.

Came across some old paint in this old beater house I purchased to remodel, winter, sell when complete. Anyone wants to have a blast shooting things, old spoiled paint works like a charm...plus I have this .50 AR and was in a shooting mood. KA-BOOM! Old paint can flies about fifty feet in the air, paint splatter everywhere. Didn't holler "Get wrecked!" but the results were satisfying. Now I've got the paint police following me everywhere, taking notes, you get that heightened flurry of activity as I pull into the Sherwin Williams lot. Looked like he had a bin of other books there, too. Thought he said he shot them up, too? Was curious how many "hits" it had, so forth so on. The posts below suggest he was torqued off about something King said or wrote. Something about 30-shot clips? I think this explains out world. Everywhere there is some place some where where some one is venting over something some one said some place somewhere at some time. None of it makes any sense. God is great, beer is good...and people are crazy.
Yes! This is just sad, in so many ways.

The only reason I can think of for the guy to do this would be in retaliation for the essay "Guns"? He must be more of a gun enthusiast than a Constant Reader.

I think he said something about the Confederate flag and the State House at the start, I don't know if SK said something about this and it torqued him. I can only stand a couple minutes of his wanna be tough guy, poser attitude, then I couldn't listen anymore.. God what a dork.
In my first pass through this thread I didn't actually have time to watch the video, but now that I have, I'll pass a note on to Marsha so that he may be made aware of it.

What an awful, horrible thing to do. I think books are valuable in a way that has nothing to do with money. I guess this creep thought he was making some kind of statement, but all I heard was, "I'm an a**hole."
