I am most thankful for my time with family. The children usually call home for the holidays. We all live in different states. The fact we will have a hot meal and plenty to eat. A warm house. And most of all that you are all about of my SKMB family. Thank-you guys!

I normally don't like to do this but there are just so many things I am thankful for this year. I feel like I'm FINALLY grown up enough to realize how lucky I am. I've had to fight for everything my entire life and it's finally feeling like it's paying off.

So I'll say this - I'm thankful to have the life I have, to be where I am now, to have my wonderful, supportive husband, and to have everything that I take for granted every other day of the year.

I'm thankful for our armed forces throughout the world, especially our special forces troops. A lot of those guys will be spending Thanksgiving in mountain ranges thousands of miles from home watching, waiting, taking the fight to those who would harm my family simply because we are Americans.. I'm in awe of your dedication as I always will be. Hooyah! Thank you for all you do and all you sacrifice in the name of the Stars and Stripes.

I am thankful I am who I am, that I can love and be kind to other people. And that I meet so many other good people... I think I have many things to be thankful for and a lot of people to thank, as everyone I meet teaches me something, everything gives a new experience.

This year we are most thankful for our little grandson, and that he arrived healthy and happy. I am thankful for my family, my husband who works so hard for all of us and who does it with a smile. I am thankful I am able to be at home with my kids. And I am thankful for all of the incredible, caring friends I have made here.

I'm thankful for my family, but for right now, my daughter especially.
She is my taxi for the trips to Newark, Delaware where I will be having my surgery next week. She took me up there yesterday also. She has to take me up next Wednesday, and then go back up there next Thursday to bring me home.
She always makes me laugh. Like yesterday, we stopped to a WAWA, and on the way from there to get back on the highway, we saw something that looked like a toll. The person in front of us never stopped, and the person behind us waved us on. So we don't know if we were supposed to put money in the thing. We laughed about that the rest of the day! So now she thinks she may get a letter in the mail about a fine she may have to pay!

Amen to that. So much of what we take for granted is due to our safety at home and abroad. We often forget about how big a role our armed forces play in keeping our daily lives drama free, compared to so many other countries where chaos reigns.
