One of my favourite and most under-rated JCM songs. Sadly, he hasn't performed it live in decades.
Side note: I chose the first video because it features John talking to Dick Clark and, as far back as the early 80s, artists like he and Tom Petty were complaining about the escalating prices of albums and the danger of putting them beyond the reach of teenagers and minimum wage workers. Complaints by the artists fell on deaf ears and, with the digital age and the advent of MP3s, the music industry collapsed and has never recovered.
I chose the second video because it's a great live rendition and I love how John sounded back in the day before cigarettes (not age) ruined his voice.
