It is Monday here so it's Sunday in America. Last night I rang up a talk back radio program because they were talking about if you have ever seen a ghost. I was making dinner while I was on hold. There was a guy on about 10 minutes before I got on and he said he grew up in Burnley in North England and came out here in 1971 as a ten year old. He said he and his mates were playing in an alley in Burnley about 1970 and a ghost of a pirate came floating in the air toward them yelling at them and it hit one of the kids over the head, and then they all scarpered off.
Exciting day. Over 80º. Finished mowing the lawn, which had grown so much it had to be done in sections. First peonies bloomed. Started using the sprinkler to water instead of just throwing water in certain places with a hose.
I'm bringing the 'bit*hin' Camaro in for a detail. Of course it's supposed to rain. You have to make an appointment like three months in advance for this detail shop so it's going in no matter what!!

My day started out fabulous - listened to the birds, watered my flowers, went to Zumba! Work was not as productive as it should have been - I was a bit of a slacker . I must step it up tomorrow or I'll be doomed by Thursday and find myself having to work on Saturday with no one to blame but myself.

Good. Ningot extra paymas I live in canada and it's a federal holiday. We are celebrating queen Victoria p's birthday. (Canada was. British colonel, and the queen or king of England is still kind of our head of state and we are part of the commonwealth).. and funds good copy of the shining, notmthe one I whant but at least a copy I can read. I need to clean my house. Sunday, I got a surprise phone call from my aunt, she and my cousin were in town, watching my cousin's boy play baseball. So we went to the ballpark and watched, too. Got poured on and the Wyoming wind was in full force, but it was still fun.
Yesterday I was hurting all over so did not get much done. So I really need to get busy, but the sun is shining for the first time in about 10 days...I really want to go sit outside and soak some sun up.
Guess I will try to do both, clean and then enjoy the sun a while.

Exactley enjoy the sun in the morning and clean up during the day. I have to go to work in the heat
Yes, that's the photo they used for the Revival dust jacket. It was taken in the Lovell area but I don't remember if it was at his home or another location there.
