For the bruising... If you can get some fresh comfrey, make a poultice of it and apply it to the bruise a few times a day. Or try some arnica cream.

Uggggg. Me a bit irritated..... So joe hill is releasing a new book 
in October called strange wheather, and his local bookstore is selling pre-ordered sighted copies, and their is no way I can afford this as a $27.00 us book. Plus shipping to Canada $22.00 plus the exchange rate so it will end up costing me $70.00... all I whant is a sighned joe hill book. Ugggg. Oh well.. perhaps one day..

Our neighbor, who is a veteran, is very ill and I offered to cut his grass last week. It's finally sunny enough to do it but today when I walked next door he said his wife had the riding lawn mower key (he'd requested I use his mower). I can't use our mower because it's out of gas.
My other neighbor is building on to her deck and I hear her hammering. Her tall magnolia tree is a deep evergreen and it's studded with creamy blooms that in early mornings look like cake frosting.
My sister and boyfriend want me to go out to eat with them but I didn't want to go; they're also going to Cityfest. I'll probably catch up with them later in the week at 2nd and Charles. So, today, I'm going to read and enjoy the outdoors.

Ran a bath earlier but then got distracted with laundry, etc. (plus, I will admit, the computer 
of course!)
While out on the deck we were talking about the hose which is hooked up to the side of the house. The water gets pretty warm with the sun beating on it, so I sort of stuck my neck out and Andy poured hot water all over my head. Sort of a cheap shampoo (without any shampoo?)
It was actually quite refreshing!
So now I will sign off and go have a real bath with shampoo and everything (maybe even a little bath bomb from Lush)

have a warm bath about 24 hours after you have the trauma.
Going to the pet store for some things for Bethy. She needs a brush, and a carrier, and food, and knowing me, I will find all kinds of stuff for her. I always did spoil my animals.
Currently out and about shopping for more stuff for this kitchen redo. We're on.a first name basis with the Lowe's associates now. Today is dishwasher, tile for countertops and flooring. Plus I need a new vacuum. And 22 handles for kitchen cabinets/drawers.
Watching our prime minster in live with Regis and Kelly, he makes me very proud to be ... I just hope when king and Owen are in their book tour they get to meet him, that whould be so awsome. Two sons following in their fathers footsteps. Can we please make this happen
