Same. I hug family and a few friends naturally (and little kids and dogs!), but have learned to just let it happen when I can't avoid it (little old ladies from church, some people I would consider acquaintances--not huggable--but whom I don't want to offend because they're nice people who hug everyone).

Grandma's a hugger. She makes up for both of us.

I'm in a female-dominated profession. Hugs fly around, and I've gotten used to them, especially if I've known the other person for a decade or two, but I don't initiate them. It's easier to get out of than you'd think. Natural huggers take a look at me and go, "Ummm.... no."

I can't imagine being able to go 110 mph without fear of getting caught by the police!

Back highways of Wyoming, on the road to Lander. The Little Red Beast climbed to 120 quickly, and I wanted to see what was left, but then I thought, "If I happen to miss seeing that Wyoming trooper, I am going to jail, directly to jail, and not passing Go." I throttled back, but it was fun while it lasted.

Well, I did 120 on the bike a couple times out on Colorado's Eastern Plains, and it had plenty left too. Don't tell Grandma. No, seriously, don't.

I can fly on the country back roads here, and the curves make it that much more fun. However, on the Interstate, and in the city, I have to watch it.

Maddie likes spooky houses and buildings, it might also extend to cemeteries?

Yess it does , Thank you FlakeNoir :wink2: I love exploring cemeteries too CoriSCapnSkip and I have had some of the fondest memories doing it! Theres a website which you may already know about , but just in case, its called Find A Grave - Millions of Cemetery Records and if you wanted you could become an active contributor to that site by documenting some of the ones you visit, so many old ones that have been forgotten are brought back to light there, I almost said life. :icon_eek: People will actually request photos of graves of their loved ones by your location and access to cemeteries near you and a surprising thing is how many of our loved ones graves may already be pictured there by the people who do it. I would love to hear your experiences and I could share some too !

I love old cemeteries! Do you take photos of the stones? Have you done etchings? When we went to Charleston, SC a few years ago, I spent several hours exploring Magnolia Cemetery. Some of the older graves and crypts are beautiful. There was another cemetery next to it that had a really creepy looking chapel. Both were so cool.
Share some of your experiences......I'd love to see/hear about them!

Oh me too! I would love to hear hers and yours! is there a Cemetery thread :eyebrow: ? tales from the cemeteries ... :tickled_pink:

Just came back from from Sub Zero where we had ice cream parfaits

Josh had one called The Jets with blueberry, strawberry and cheesecake and mine was a Minion with banana, peanut butter and Oreo cookie crumbs

This one is a Canada Day one

We sat outside - nice place - maybe we'll go again and bring Josh's friend Pam

I've had the Bit**n' Camaro up to 110 once. Plenty of room to go after that as well. It was late and no one was around. Roads in MA are typically too congested to sustain that speed.

I did a pretty consistent 110 through a good stretch of NH on 95 North in my 2004 GTO on my way to a buddy's wedding in 2005. That was back in my younger and dumber days. NH State Police have zero sense of humour when it comes to speeding. I was lucky I didn't get busted as it would have been straight to the pound for SwiftDog!
