Did you know that 2 cups of strong black coffee will help with an asthma attack? I read that years ago in a self help book, and I have asthma, so I tried it when my asthma was bothering me. It really did help.

Thanks P Biddy... I have asthma with occasional attacks. I knew a good, strong cup of joe would ward off a migrane if you drink it before your vision tunnels, but never knew 2 would stop an asthma attack. Thank you 8)

I like a cup in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. Hubby makes it and brings it to me (sweet!). When I get home from I like to relax with a cup of tea before making supper, etc. Got in the tea habit when we lived in England - there's nothing like a good cup of English Breakfast or some Lady Grey!!

Being English I need a couple of cups of tea first thing to "kick start" my day, but mid-morning brings my only coffee of the day. Nothing fancy, Kenco Rich Blend Instant with milk and sugar and made by my better half and to my mind, just perfect.
I don't know her "secret", but neither my own attempts or shop bought Starbucks, Costa, Nero's ...whoever just doesn't taste the same.

(Perhaps part of her process is to spit in it and that's what's missing?)

Same here! Sometimes I can avoid using an inhaler that way as well. That aside, I head for my coffee pot with my eyes closed in the morning. Gots to have my caffeine fix. I start my day with about 3 cups of strong, black brew. Seldom have any more during the day after that though.
