When he did scenes with his shirt off, I don't have the faintest idea what he is saying..

I also (a couple of days ago) ordered a hardback of Dark Gods by T.E.D Klein from thriftbooks.com. It's very hard-to-find and usually quite pricey. As far as I know, Klein has only written two books (DG and The Ceremonies). He was editor of Twilight Zone magazine for quite a few years before it went belly up. Steve King LOVED The Ceremonies! If you like LOvecraft you'll like The Ceremonies, which is a modern twist on Lovecraft's mythos.

Fifties and sixties TV westerns were all great. Writers, directors and actors during this time were all excellent professionals. And this expertise shows in the fine shows they produced. My favorite was Wanted, Dead or Alive.
Just happened to be flipping thru channels while eating my lunch today and Gunsmoke was on. The special guest actress was none other than Bette Davis! She plays a woman who's husband was hanged by the state and Dillon was the man who captured him and turned him in and she wants revenge after planning Dillon's abduction with her sons for 6 years. Never knew she was on that show. It also featured a very young Tom Skerritt. Love him! If I ever meet him I'll have to ask him for some juicy stories about Bette.
