What is Stephen King's favourite electric guitar of all time?

I was just wondering if Stephen had an all-time favourite make and model of electric guitar. My brother used to own a Gretsch guitar like Mike Nesmith had in The Monkees. If I had to guess, I'd say he was a Fender Stratocaster man.

Good question! That would be my guess too. My (other) hero, Eric Clapton, uses a Strat, so he'd be in good company

Of all the pictures I have ever seen of Steve with a guitar, I have only seen 1 where he is playing an electric - a Gibson SG. The only other 2 guitars I have seen him playing are a generic looking accoustic (although it was probably something exspensive like a Taylor) and his most pictured "Telecoustic" style guitar.

Brian May had his 'Red Special' that he and his father made when he was a kid. That ******** of a guitar gave him his special sound. Interesting. I shouldn't say '********'. I tried to make a guitar from old pickups and other ****. It's not that easy.
I 'inherited' the 'Live Cream' album from my brother. That album must be one of the best. Clapton is a genius. Hendrix said that himself. Don't forget Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce.

There are quite a few photos out there showing him playing a black Kramer electric/acoustic guitar. Another that looks to be from the 80's shows him with a black Gibson SG Custom.

I think Clapton usually uses a Strat nowadays, but in the day he was a Gibson man.

When Cream played Atlanta's Chastain Park around 1969 he played a Gibson Flying V, much like this one...

Every picture I can find from the RBR shows has SK playing the aforementioned e-coustic. If he does like Gibson SGs, then he is awesome. That is what I use. :)

That looks to be an SG standard. It has the trapezoid inlays and the bright colored logo and symbol on the headstock.

I saw this one too, but figured it was a 1-off.

Possible it's a Taylor, but pretty sure it's not the Cujo one. I think that was made after this pic was taken, but not for sure on that. Miss Mod would have to verify that.
