Money. That might sound shallow but honestly that's what I would wish for. I'm pretty happy with my life otherwise, more or less, but a decent 7 figure inheritance right now could fix the things I don't have. Having that money would mean I don't have to work as many hours which would give me a fighting chance of getting custody of my daughter. It would enable me to help my mother who's going on 60 stop working a full time job in a deli and relax a little. I wouldn't wish for it for any selfish reasons, I'd put it to good use.

Well, for starters, and I'm not posting this to talk trash about the old cliché - I really *do* want this because of the state of the world as we know it right now....

SutterKane, I don't think money sounds shallow, money can make things move easier is all. Life flows a little better if you don't have to worry about paying bills. This is probably the one I would wish for too. But not an inheritance, a windfall of some sort. Shallow, to me would be wishing for a nose or a boob job. 8)

Money is a fair wish--it sure makes things easier. I used to say I wish I could spend all day reading and writing, but that one is as close as I'm ever going to get without wish #1 (money), so I'm satisfied there. As I get older, I hate the thought of dying. Not because I'm afraid to do so--I'm not--but because you miss everything afterward. I HATE MISSING ALL THE THINGS. I can't sleep if I can hear voices in another room because I'm afraid I'll miss something, for Pete's sake! So my fondest and most unrealistic wish is that everything would just stop when I do. So I don't miss anything (lol).
