Well, for starters, and I'm not posting this to talk trash about the old cliché - I really *do* want this because of the state of the world as we know it right now....

Yes, I think this as well. I'd wish for every single person on the planet to be filled with empathy and brotherly love for every one - not just those who share their particular political or religious views. It'd be a good start.

for my mother to get well again so she didn't need help and could take the long walks she loves and do the very difficult crossword puzzle and cook her own food and... For myself i would like to be sure that i'll keep the work i'm having for at least 10 years.
