I don't have a DVR. Don't even have cable. We just have an antenna. (and Netflix, and Amazon Prime, and Hulu Plus.) Now I'm wondering if it really is cheaper? :glare:

I have no idea how to even use Netflix! Do you have to have cable internet to get it on your TV? We watch a lot of sports so I don't think we can do without our cable (or, if we ever change to it, Direct TV) - need to have lived TV for that! Not sure about the expenses. Our cable bill is pretty silly.....

Old, but yet to watch:
Better Call Saul
SNL from a few weeks ago
A marathon of Flea Market Flip (6 or 7 episodes)
The Blacklist

This week:
Better Call Saul
The Blacklist
Modern Family

I am not sure what's on hiatus because of the basketball tourney, though.

Isn't Blacklist just the best??!!! Not sure about that either.. I was shocked Madam Secretary was on Sunday.... (forgot to add that to my list...) -

Yes, I love it! It can be a little "cliche cop show" at times, but James Spader is amazing in it. And we are finally getting to what is really going on with Keen and Red.

Have you found yourself missing any shows due to not being available?

I also saw HBO Go is going to start offering stand alone service too.
Nope. I'm not a bit TV watcher, but pretty much anything I'm interested in that's not past seasons (that's what Netflix is for--lol) turns up on Hulu Plus the next day, we do pay by the season for Walking Dead on VUDU--I think it was $26, and well worth the cost. Plus, once you buy it it's yours. You can download it, or just let VUDU store it for you.

Oh wait--I just thought of one: Big Bang Theory. Hulu and CBS must have some issue, because no current CBS shows that I know of are on Hulu. We liked that one, but I can't say I really miss it. And we're not sports watchers, so that's not an issue. We pay a total of $16 for Hulu and Netflix--a tiny part of the $200 cable bill! Well worth looking in to.

Oh wow, I have to look into this. I'd keep my cable internet, but get rid of Tv and phone. Have a cell for emergency and daughter has a better cell fro calls. Budget gets tiger each month!
