Just stumbled on this the other day. I like it. I've been a big Billy Sheehan (bass player) fan since his Mr. Big days. Vocals remind me a little of Chris Cornell. I'll even forgive Ritchie Kotzen (singer/guitarist) for being in Poison........

Sounds decently tough... until the chorus. Pure power pop. Damn, I hate when that happens. I wouldn't have recognized Ritchie Kotzen if you hadn't identified him!

Yeah, it does get poppy at the chorus. Decent song though.

I think this is Mike Portnoy's (drummer) attempt to go mainstream. He was the drummer for DreamTheater, an extremely pretentious prog-rock band. They had a minor hit in the early 90's with their song Pull Me Under. The drummer in my last band was a big fan of them. Not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the musicianship.

I heard this today and whenever I hear The J.Geils Band, I think of high school head light parties. ;-D We had one place in particular we loved to have impromptu headlight parties. There was a company that started a housing development out in the middle of nowhere and went broke before it went to far and there was this 4 lane paved road to nowhere that led to a great party place. I had a friend that carried these big speakers in his car and he would put them on the roof of his car and everyone would turn on their headlights and we had a party (just add beer). He loved the J. Geils Band so J. Geils was the party music at many of the headlight parties. ;-D
