By the way I didn't mention the onions must be peeled before boiling. ;;D But that's clear isn't it.

Well, it's clear now........:D

I'm thinking that I may be sleeping on the couch tonight as I usually have a wee bit of ice cream or an ice pop before bed time. The onion ice cream might um...........create problems if you know what I mean.

Onions are the only thing in the garden that the coons will not take away!

I've had chipmunks dig up mine. I'll find a partially (parsley, in Wyoming, at the Irma Hotel) chewed onions on the steps. At least, the chipmunks stand accused. They also dig up tulip bulbs and replant them in various locations.

Coons are around constantly and will take anything not bolted down. My gardens are kept within chain link dog runs with a roof.
They pull my drain pipe to AC unit out daily! Had a cable repair guy come once, left his meter on ground and out to road- which seemed forever. Came back- meter gone. I found it out in the woods a week later. Gotta love the coons.
