At New Lambton Public library, there's a guy sitting at the computer next to me and he's checking some employment website. There is a thunder storm going on outside. It's 4:24 pm. I'm going down to the DVD store down the road in 20 minutes. I want to see something scary.

No, I don't work at the library, I'm using there computer as it was so cold at home (six degrees celcius), and I like to get out, otherwise, I'll end up starting to drink.

I had a lovely evening with people, it was 11 pm before I knew it, I caught a cab back to the temporary domicile, and it's midnight and I'm going to bed in broad daylight.

On the PORCH (no MeMaw) enjoying partial 4th July week shutdown. Always slow this time of year--apparently folks don't break bones or need surgery around independence day. Or they keep a back stock of implants and instruments for just such holidays. Bah, docs are all golfing. The sun has made appearance, bathing the rain soaked lawn. Grass just went up an inch as I was writing this.

(I mean, I know the fourth is NEXT week, but we're starting early. This time next week I'll be on my way to Indy for next Saturday's frackin ROLLING STONES concert--oh WEEP, ye jealous, ticket-less peasants...)
