I've honestly can't remember how many times I've read thru The Dark Tower series over the years. It has to be past twenty. That doesn't the times I've listened to the series on audiobook..lol. I haven't read the last Dark Tower book that many times because it hasn't been out as long as the others but it's been a helluva over the last thirty years or so...

I have read 'The Stand' the most times. 'IT' comes a close second though. The Stand i first found in the adult section of the library when i was 13 (a wwhole 2 years before i was allowed to borrow from that section). Lucky for me though, i had the most awesome librarian who.... ahem...... forgot my age and let me borrow the book. Im just totally obsessed with this book - once i finish reading it, i start again - much to the amusement of my other half :) ....... My Nan bought my first copy of it for me - paperback thats now falling apart so I keep it safe in the cupboard lol

The Gunslinger most likely. I devoured that book in a matter of hours and continued to read it over and over waiting for the next installment to come. And with each book released, there was a never ending wait period that caused me to go back and read them again. The late comers will never understand the torture we experienced by having to wait for the next one and then to have that impression that he might never finish the story because it was such a large story. But alas, it all came together and we are blessed for it.

Gotta go with Needful Things. I've read that one countless times over the years and enjoy it just as much every time. There's just something about it that I love. Really smooth writing too. I've always found it creepy and eerie myself. I have a ton of copies of that book too and I like reading a different copy each time. Multiple hardbacks, all the different pb editions, the different smells that come with each edition lol. I'm 24 and I still have the copy I read as a kid. One of his best in my opinion! As for a few others I have to go with Salem's Lot, The Shining, Pet Semetary and Carrie. Also Insomnia!
