Remember Opie? Of Mayberry? Ron Howard and I are close in age, and have been each's doppelgänger since childhood; or, I should say were until approximately our late thirties or so. On three occasions I've been mistaken for him; one of them involved an autograph request. Then he started losing his hair, while I started making up for it in body fat (the bastard).
Since, I've been likened to Philip Seymour Hoffman, esp when I don't shave for a while; a then, a little while later, Santa.

My (extended and close) family have always called me Julia Roberts. I don't see it. It was probably just the noodle hair back in my spiral perm days... and the name stuck. 
Long ago, back in the '70s, friends of ours went to see The Three Musketeers and came back and said they thought that I looked like Michael York.
I think they were insane. And there was ever a kernel of truth to it, 40 or so years later, Mr. York and I have aged in different directions.

It's me on the left in the red t-shirt. Who do yo think i look like, if anyone? The guy on the right is an inlaw. He is a nephew to my brothes wife. Perhaps it is more him that has the fimstarquality, i don' know.
