Why i dont 'like' your posts

Phew! My like jar is empty this morning ... I been dishin them out like a willie wonka ticket tout on an open day .

Maybe thats what we need - a limited supply per day of likes - a little jar of sunshine we can only give to our fave post of the day. And a big raspberry saved for the SKMB grinch of the day .

Okay, is it just me, or does sending other dudes and dudettes love hearts in the form of liking their posts feel a bit wrong?

I mean i only press like if the post is good - i dont want to show my affections tooo early on a first date .

Shouldnt the 'like' button be a thumbs up or a clap hand symbol or even a hat tip ...but A love heart ???? Come on A bit steep doncha think .


And if you have a 'like', shouldnt you have a 'dislike' ? Or a 'read your remark buddy- but you're a whack job' button.

So i'm starting a campaign to have the' i heart you button' changed for something a little less forward - say....a brown starfish for poop and a gold starfish for yay

Whose with me? Lets storm the SK office with our banners and plackards held high - and a list of our demands ...

I forget to 'like' sometimes, then I'll go on a tear and like everything (as an acknowledgement that I read it) except the truly offensive. Then I forget for a while again It's a nice feature, I think.

Definitely good to have the button--people appreciate affirmation. Not so good that I go on jags and then I wonder if people read meaning into my not 'liking' when it doesn't man anything (usually) except that I'm running six places at once like normal and I forgot such a thing existed.

I know, luv, we get so busy with life anymore! I thought the older I got the more time I would have for 'fun things like reading, etc. but it just ain't the case. Where does all the d*mn time go anymore???? I have come to love the 'Ignore Thread' button tho......
