I have a few subsequent thoughts...

1) I think you sometimes go a bit wrong often about halfway through your thinking, SHEEMIEE; i.e., a discussion about changing an emoticon, cool, a discussion about storming Stephen King's office with flaming placards, I'm not as sure...

2) The site used to have a Dislike feature which I personally think we're well-rid of, as I think why encourage antagonism? It's a good thing to communicate in a positive way so simply, while to be able to dislike a post without explanation is counterproductive to me.

3) I personally have always enjoyed Liking members' posts. I know that it feels nice to me to be Liked, and so I assume it makes others feel nice; so, rarely do I not Like a post. I figure, what with how mis-communicative text can get, why not take advantage of texts' perks, such as Liking, using smilies, etc? BTW, believe it or not I hadn't noticed the little red heart, or I'd subliminalized it for some reason. Anyway, I think the little heart is a good thing.

To summarize, yes SHEEMIEE, I think it's just you.
Same as me Blunt, I like pretty much every post I read unless I really disagree and I do it to be nice to nice people who are nice to me. I agree the little heart is a good thing.

The Twilight Zone
I used to wonder sadly why certain members never or almost never Liked my posts. I took it personally, but after investigation realized that the member just didn't seem to like to Like. I also began to realize that not everyone is like me. I like to Like; it's like a job, a duty, because since I like being Liked and I believe in the Golden Rule, I do for others as I would like them to do for me.

A member who is a friend didn't like to Like. It bothered me that the member wasn't Liking my posts and I asked about it. The member explained that it's just not an important thing to do for them. I guess I'm sentimental; it makes me feel good to see member usernames lined up Liking my posts. It's friendly and nice and better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Shame you can only like one post once though. I would like to double like this post.
