I'm going to go see this in the cinema tomorrow night. I really hope I don't pee my pants.
Waiting for next weekend. The crowds should be quite minimal by then. Going with my 2 grand-daughters. One is 19, the other 15. The 15 year old can handle it according to her therapist. I cannot wait! (I guess I can for a week).
....S, right THERE is my whole issue with Pennywise....where in hell does a shape-shifting homicidal clown get helium for his damn balloons?????....you can't just waltz into a dollar store looking like Bozo the Clown's psychopathic brother and ask for a fill-up!...well, yeah you can, here in my town-but besides that, WTF??....
I am so tempted to try and find a clown costume for tomorrow night. I will at least try to get a red helium filled balloon into the theatre.
I am probably going to have to wait for next weekend. This weekend is out. Hubby's work schedule and my babysitting schedule will not let us go during the week, and I have plans next Friday night. So next weekend it will have to be.
Perhaps he fills the balloons up with a special clown "gas",ever think that?

Tix bought for tomorrow... one of my best friends, whose opinion I generally agree with regarding SK (except for his Tommyknockers disdain... sigh), said it's his favorite King adaptation, and he's seen 'em all. Can't wait!
Your granddaughter should be able to handle it fine. I hope you guys enjoy the movie. I think it's one of the best adaptions to come along in a long time.

So did I! There were about 6 stacks of them on a table right by the entrance when I got to the theater and when I left I checked again and almost all of them were gone.

Nah, not all of them. When I was looking at the stuff they had on the table I asked the gal who took my ticket if they were free. She said yes and to take as many as I wanted. She said they got 500 of them in for this movie. I took a few and planned on taking more when I left but there weren't many left on the table by then. So I wasn't completely hoggish....
