So, thinking about a turn of events in a show I'm watching, made me think of Anne Rice's The Witching Hour, which is very likely one of the most frightening books I've ever read. This history of the Mayfair witches was just awesome and terrifying. It lead my thinking to SK writing about witches. Have I missed a few novels where he writes about them? Or has he only really written about one - Rhea of Coos? Maybe they terrify him too? But it's also very likely that I have forgotten or haven't read a novel that mentions them.
