The first edition of TGWLTG is a smaller hardcover. First edition of Joyland is a large paperback (an illustrated hardcover was just released a few months ago, and I think jchanic mentioned something about a hardcover collector's edition - not sure about that).
Geminii23 Is Storm of the Century a HC edition? If it is could you post a picture, never saw the HC.
The hardcover Storm of the Century was issued only by the BOMC.

So, it was listed under magazine back issues, that's why I never saw it as I only look under Antiquarian and Collectable Books.

I just received a copy of Joyland Illustrated Edition. I'll be sending it back tomorrow as it appears to of been thrown in a lake during it's travels.
Oh dear, that's disappointing, where did you get it from? (And who was the postal agency?)
I ordered it through Chapters and had it shipped to a local store so I'd get free shipping. Picked it up today, and didn't notice anything wrong until after I got home.
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you will get a good resolution when you return it.
I'd be ok with waiting for them to order another copy. Was this book originally hard cover, or is this the first version?

Joyland was originally published in a large paperback edition by Hard Case Crimes and there was also a signed (by King) and numbered limited illustrated hardback edition published by them also. Then, Hard Case Crime recently decided to do a hardback illustrated version (it has numerous new illustrations done just for this edition) which is the one that signals2112 has. Hope this helps.
