Yesterday I pre-ordered the signed/numbered Cemetary Dance edition of Tabitha King's 'Small World'. It's her first novel. Looks like CD is going to be releasing all or most of her novels in limited editions. Maybe we'll finally get to read the one that (as of now) is unpublished that Steve mentions in his list of novels at the back of On Writing?

That would be awesome!

Lots. But the latest would be picking up copies of Stand By Me, It, The Shawshank Redemption and The Mist. The only one I haven't actually seen is The Mist but until recently I've never been all that interested in owning the movies because the books are so much better and I tend to prefer my head canon. As in, I don't care what the movie did, Ben Hanscomb looks nothing like John Ritter!

I haven't seen the Rob Lowe version either. Let us know what you think.
I will :) I'll probably start it tonight, as I finished The Enfield Haunting last night.

Hey, that reminds me: they had SOOOOOO many SK books there today, HB and PB, all for $2.99 or less. If anyone stateside is looking for something in particular, let me know.

I saw a DVD of 'Salem's Lot at the thrifty today, so I picked it up. I've never seen either of the TV movies of this one, and I look askance at Rob Lowe (much less David Soul--lol) being Ben Mears, but I thought I could at least give it a spin for $2 :)
You'll get your money's worth for $2. It's an okay version but nothing will ever beat the original.

Okay, this page is giving my computer trouble. I have hit the 'like' button on the above post by Takoren and while it shows my name in the 'You and Neesy' field at the bottom of the post it continues to still show the 'like' button as if I never clisked on it and it won't let me 'reply' to the post either. So, what I wanted to say to takoren is that I thought that for its time and being a made-for-television' movie, the original sure scared a lot of people and still continues to do so. I think it's a great adaption.
