Can you post this in the website area so Jordan can see it?
Sure, but it is just an observation, not a big deal - after about 20 posts it seems we usually get off topic anyway
extra copy of the Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
I think I remember Jordan saying that this is just the way it is with this board.
@Neesy, the way I get around this is to open two pages of the same thread, click multiple replies on one page and then use copy and paste to bring over any replies from the next page. (I did it like this replying to you and Deej just now)
Also, on the old board there was an option for selecting the number of posts per page that you wanted to view--I had mine set at 20.
Just got my bluray copy of Carrie (2013 version) today!
okay - thanks - I did not know that - still a bit confused at times even though it has been over two months on the new board
I recently got the book On Writing. My purchase before that was The Stand, Back in the late `80's. I am really enjoying the book.
Welcome to the site, Leafy... good to have you here. I love On Writing, one of my favourites.
Thanks! I'm pretty excited.
Welcome to the community leafy.
Dish on Demand is offering 13 Stephen King movies! I was watching Thinner today. It was the free one. I love how King played the pharmacist in the movie.
Welcome to SKMB @leafy
My favourite part of On Writing was his personal story, not so much the writing tips, as I am not an aspiring writer. He talks about his accident and how serious it was. I just thank God he survived to carry on loving his family and writing.
Just received Turn down the lights too, hardcover.
Mine was Doctor Sleep on it's release but I can't wait for Mr Mercedes.
I will soon buy the new edition of On Writing...it looks so hot...
Bought another copy of The Running Man from thriftbooks.com today. Hope it's the original version. The last one I purchased from them was a true 1st printing, so hopefully this one will be, too.
Received my Subterranean Press limited 'gift' edition of The Shining today and it is absolutely stunning! Here's a pic:
The pattern that's on the slipcase is what the artist used for the carpeting in his illustrations. Magnificent artwork! I am running out of room for my SK books Time to buy a bigger house!!!
That really makes me wish I'd ordered the gift edition. I did order the signed limited, but funds were tight at the time...
Another copy of Doctor Sleep for the office.
Hey, John, I'm sure the signed version will be even more spectacular! I can't wait to get mine, too!
