It is funny - I have tried to reply to posts by quoting them and then answering them, but it only works on the same page. i.e. there are 20 posts to each page, so if you are on the next page and try to reply to a quote from a previous page, it won't work. (the old board only had 10 posts per thread page).
Can you post this in the website area so Jordan can see it?

Sure, but it is just an observation, not a big deal - after about 20 posts it seems we usually get off topic anyway View attachment 771

I think I remember Jordan saying that this is just the way it is with this board.

@Neesy, the way I get around this is to open two pages of the same thread, click multiple replies on one page and then use copy and paste to bring over any replies from the next page. (I did it like this replying to you and Deej just now)
Also, on the old board there was an option for selecting the number of posts per page that you wanted to view--I had mine set at 20.

okay - thanks - I did not know that - still a bit confused at times even though it has been over two months on the new board

I recently got the book On Writing. My purchase before that was The Stand, Back in the late `80's. I am really enjoying the book.

Welcome to SKMB @leafy

My favourite part of On Writing was his personal story, not so much the writing tips, as I am not an aspiring writer. He talks about his accident and how serious it was. I just thank God he survived to carry on loving his family and writing.

Bought another copy of The Running Man from thriftbooks.com today. Hope it's the original version. The last one I purchased from them was a true 1st printing, so hopefully this one will be, too.

The pattern that's on the slipcase is what the artist used for the carpeting in his illustrations. Magnificent artwork! I am running out of room for my SK books Time to buy a bigger house!!!
